Each time they succeed, they set the standards for their peers and are followed by the mass. The Founder and President of House Of Groomers Pet Salons & Academy, Mr. GAN WEE YET. Mr. Gan's prowess in pet industry as a successful pet guru and a leading entrepreneur of high end pet salons as well as education has empowered him to achieve a multitude of milestones that many can only envy. He exemplifies that destiny is not a matter of chance; it is a matter of choice.

As a teacher, groomer, judge, breeder and handler of many breed champions, best in show winner, ranging from Grand Champion, Multiple Champions to multiple top ranked show dogs, he is also known for his good international grooming reputation. He is the first South East Asian to judge at International Pet Grooming shows, namely, Groom Expo at Burbank and Pasadena, California and Groom & Kennel Expo at Hershey, Pennsylvania, United States Of America. His good knowledge of pet grooming and recognition has also brought him to conduct seminars at USA’s largest pet expo, Groom & Kennel Expo at Hershey, Pennsylvania, USA and Hong Kong 5th International Pet & Aqua Expo. He is an American and Malaysian accredited Master Groomer and the only sanctioned pet grooming judge in Malaysia by International Judges Association, German Dog Groomers Association and Malaysian Pet Groomers Association. Although he spends most of his time improving and teaching the art of pet grooming, his kind heart also goes to the less fortunate animals. He frequently organized charitable events and participate in re-homing the less fortunate and abandoned canines and felines. On the home front, he is also recognized by his immense dedication to improve the art of pet grooming. In conjunction with the 2005 Malaysian Kennel Association (MKA) 1st FCI International All Breed Championship Show on 5 March 2005, Mr. Gan organized and judged at the 1st MKA Show Dog Grooming Competition along with other invited foreign judges. He also organized Malaysian Pet Groomers Association 1st International Dog Grooming Championship on 16 September, 2006.

He is the Founder and presently serves as the President of Malaysian Pet Groomers Association (MPGA). On 3rd July 2006, Mr. Gan was cordially invited to a speech with the attendance of hundreds of professional pet groomers at a pet grooming ceremony in Bangkok organized by Thailand’s dog grooming school.

Mr. Gan has been in the pet grooming and styling industry since early 1990’s, a long period of career excellence spanning more than a decade. He is by far one of the most veterans of all modern show dog exhibitor and groomer in Malaysia, hailing from his early years in England and United States of America. Of late, he had become established with work beyond the salons and academy and became a regular guest at both international and regional events on exclusive invitations. He makes regular trips to countries like USA, Thailand, Hong Kong and Singapore on his tour to promote the art of pet styling and to share his success stories with aspiring pet groomers. His dedication to excellence, passion to visions and his generosity to share had not once but numerously garnered him recognition after recognition time and again for his tireless contribution in making pet grooming industry a promising and challenging profession. In his quest to the betterment of this profession, he insists in sharing of knowledge, encourage innovation and creativity, organize events to reach out to people who seeks to understand more about his craft, creativity and professionalism. His success stories serves as the motivational guide for those who aspire to be successful, and for those who dares to dream.

If clothes maketh a man, it is the women who tailored his success. Ms Annie Goh & Ms Goh Poh Yen, the next in commands forming the pillars of House Of Groomers Academy. Both the Goh's forms a formidable team with unending success stories. The most outstanding pet groomer known in Malaysia, Ms Annie Goh, amongst her long list of winnings is the 1st and only Malaysian pet groomer who had won multiple Best Groomer In Shows and Best Creative Groomer awarded by both the Malaysian Kennel Association and Malaysian Pet Groomers Association.

She was the 1st Malaysian to compete at Intergroom, New York and Superzoo, Las Vegas, USA, both largest pet grooming competition in the world and received merits from judges for her good work. In 2006 she won the Best Groomer In Show and Best Master Groomer award at Malaysian Pet Groomers Association 1st International Dog Grooming Championship. In 2005, she won Best Creative Groomer at 2005 Malaysian Kennel Association 1st FCI International Dog Show. With these awards, it further established her stance as the authority in the pet grooming and styling industry. A prominent figure as she is, she is the Malaysian Creative Ambassador for Chris Christensen Pet Grooming products, appointed since year 2006. She is also the winner of Malaysian Pet Groomers Association’s Groomer Of the Year since 2007 to 2010. Annie became a regular guest at both international and regional events on exclusive invitations.

Ms Annie is not only reckon to be at the peak of her career but also gain the reputation of nothing less than excellent for her work and creation. She is known to be extremely gentle and friendly to friends and pets alike and her spirit of love for living creatures is unsurpassable and she is known to be a pet whisperer. Though she demands nothing from her pets but insists nothing less than 100% from her students. Her tenets to success are discipline, strong desire to learn, unreservedly sharing of knowledge, being creative and professional at all time.
